A little bit about my busy life

My name is Mhairi Hendry, I am 22 years old and I live in Hamilton, Scotland. The world of balancing athletics and work isn't an easy one. Working as an Orthotist in the NHS and competing as an international 800m runner requires a lot of commitment and dedication. I currently work Monday-Thursday and head straight to training at night, its challenging but I enjoy what I do. I truly believe that athletes need a balance. My ultimate goals are to compete, succeed, have fun and to help educate and motivate others to do the same!
